I know this is an ad...but you will love my shop, much like the items I live with and post here! Sandi

I'm all for that. We tried to push that concept during our art sale. Regretfully I haven't had time to update my Gypsy Caravan on the blog. Maybe next year! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteOur family has decided to do no shopping for products involving tariffs. So far, we are making, swapping, thrifting, or cooking for our gifts. Even the grand is going to do baking. Not that we
Deletecan't afford to pay the increases, but it is a statement, if we all shopped local and American made/tariff free goods it would really help those that need it most! I remember the dive my shop took when 9/11 happened, it took three years to recover...barely made rent. Same with independent restaurants...local family places...now that is all we do---no more chains. Hugs, Thanks for your visits, and would love to see more of your Gypsy Caravan. Sandi
I always support our Small Business Owners and if possible, don't support the Oligarch owned ones like Amazon. Happy Thanksgiving my Friend, we still have much to be Thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI think you are the best of all the bloggers in supporting local. Honestly I haven't found many 'local' shops right around here. that don't regurgitate foreign goods. We are supposed to go to a huge craft show tomorrow, and 6" of snow is forecast...if it stalls we may squeak in early in the morning! Thanks for all your blog fodder, the closest venue we have that would compare is almost 45 city miles to drive to...UGH. Getting too old to tackle freeways with insane drivers. Hugs, Sandi
DeleteSuch a wonderful reminder, Sandi!

Thank you Veronica...I know everyone in our family is cutting back, and donating more to people who need it! Thanks for visiting, Sandi
