Midwest Gardening: Let the SUN SHINE IN!

 AD-Free Blog

Midwest Gardening: Let the Sun Shine In...

After 4 months of drought----(we were in the severe zone) it rained for 13 days straight. Inches and Inches of rain, officially 19.6...for the last end of the month at Palwaukee that is roughly 10 miles away.

It didn't rain continuously--but the humidity and high temperatures, sure kept us in the house. YUGH!

But, today the sun came out....
and all was right with the world. I don't know if you can see the bees in the Holly Hocks, but you can hear the birds sing.

The east side of our yard from our little back porch...

The pots are full of hot peppers---far away from our green peppers so they don't cross polinate...hate when I get a surprise in my mouth!

Well, I have to garden and see the damage, but thought I would share these!

Hugs, Sandi
