Tis the Season: Sing Along!

 Ad-Free Blog

'Tis the season....sing along!'

Haul out the holly

oldnewgreenredo

Put up the tree before my spirit falls again

oldnewgreenredo

Fill up the stockings

oldnewgreenredo

I may be rushing things but deck the halls again

Now

oldnewgreenredo

For we need a little Christmas right this very minute

oldnewgreenredo

Candles in the window, carols at the spinet

oldnewgreenredo

Hasn't snowed a flurry,

oldnewgreenredo
But Santa dear we are in a hurry,
oldnewgreenredo
Climb down the chimney, turn on the
brightest string of lights I've ever seen

oldnewgreenredo
Slice up the fruitcake
oldnewgreenredo
It's time we've hung some tinsel on the evergreen bough
oldnewgreenredo
For we need a little music,
oldnewgreenredo
need a little laughter,

oldnewgreenredo

Need a little singing

oldnewgreenredo

ringing through the rafter

oldnewgreenredo
And we need a little snappy,

oldnewgreenredo

happy ever after

oldnewgreenredo

We need a little Christmas

oldnewgreenredo

Christmas, now!

oldnewgreenredo

We need a little

Christmas,

oldnewgreenredo

now!
oldnewgreenredo

And we need a little snappy, happy ever after

oldnewgreenredo
We need a little Christmas now!

What holiday song has wormed into your brain???
LOL

Our decorating has been a little haphazard this year. Each item placed made us smile, or evoked a holiday memory or tradition.
Our home without company will be strange, but we are healthy and have comfort in our small home and knowing our loved ones are staying home and safe also!
Merry Christmas
 and STAY SAFE!

  2. Hi Linda, this is a very old song ...from the 40-50's I remember it as a child, singing it in school for a program. Just seemed very apropos. Do have a lovely Holiday season and a Merry Christmas! Sandi
