It's not a ton....of snow, but people it is AFTER the Vernal Equinox...start of SPRING???
We have yard work to do...the spruce tree that died late last year, that we didn't deal with because of snow (and we just put Christmas lights on it, on the ground. Hubby got it cut up in the midst of rain and snow the last two weeks. Sigh.....

NOW, if you wanted a photo of screen---you wouldn't be able to get one this clear, LOL.
The pond is still frozen...and the fisher gal and guy---are waiting....and waiting... and waiting
for Spring.

I use the same setting on my camera for everything---and today it chose to focus on the mist on the window...you can see my planter with the Forsythia...cheering up the porch...HA HA HA!

Snuggled in the Viburnum bush are our sparrows.
They were not chirping this morning...
We did have a Robin last week, wonder where he is at, now.

Goodness, I have forgotten about spring snow there. I used to live in NW Indiana, very close to Chicago.
ReplyDeleteHi, Allyson. And, then two days later it was in the 60's. This week we are putting everything in the greenhouse...and crossing our fingers!
DeleteThat quote did make me laugh! Oh, it looks freezing there. Hopefully spring arrives on a warm and sunny cloud very soon.
ReplyDeleteWell, we need a few laughs, it is going to be 60 today---so at best the weather is fickle. Thanks for stopping by...!
DeleteYour snow pics are gorgeous but I hope "old man Winter" goes away soon!Stay warm and safe. Hugs and blessings.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Maristella, it will be 60 today...and please stay safe, too! Virtual safe hugs, back!
DeleteI am usually so jealous of those with beautiful snow in their yards--we had almost none this winter--but I don't think I'll be wishing for some this late in the season. I'm welcoming every stage of Spring outside during this time of cocooning at home.
ReplyDeleteStay safe,
Dewena
Well, it is going to be 60 today---just two days ago, the snow...such is our MIdwest. Hugs, hope we get to be outside today! I'm sure I can find some raking to do...LOL.
DeleteThat's just crazy! Although I heard it was snowing yesterday in Vermont at the North House Lodge. I'll keep my fingers crossed that spring comes soon for you guys! We already have our AC on in FL!
ReplyDeleteI know...it is crazy weather, it was 60 today and we got all kinds of yard work done??? in the last two days. Thanks for stopping by---it really is hard to wrap my head around spring though---still!
DeleteOh no, wow, that spring snow is hard for a Southerner to imagine, we are supposed to be 80 today!!
ReplyDeleteJenna
That was two days ago...and yesterday it was 60 something...LOL. Such is the Chicago weather. Now 4 days of cool and rain...! We have to quick run out and do yard work! We will be in the low 40's later today!
DeleteI can't handle Snow... hence, I live in the Desert where I don't have to shovel Sunshine. I don't mind looking at it in pixs tho'... I do remember some positive things about the changing of Seasons when we lived in places that had it. *winks*
ReplyDeleteHa, we had flurries early this morning...and 27...and several more days of below freezing at night. Grins, yes, the desert has that 'burn your brains' heat though, so I guess we are where we are supposed to be, HUGS and thanks so much for stopping by, Sandi
