Chicago is stubborn and holding on to winter...in temps and weather.
I'm Wishing for Eggs, tulips, pansies, bunnies and more!
Can we say PEEPS PLEASE!?
I love Daffodils!
And Tulips....
Aren't these gorgeous---I planted them somewhere out in the garden last year---can't wait???
Carrot cake....for Easter! I so screwed with the recipe---I can't even find what I started with!
I know I added raisins, coconut, oatmeal, carrots and chopped apples-- (no nuts)
I can't wait to get out onto the porch---it will be probably a month or more before though.
The entire family loves to lounge and relax out here!
My porch is filled with garden accessories.
Old tablecloths made into cushions!
Crispy bunnies---for everyone!

Pansies are the first plants I buy!

We start plants every year!
Love this wreath but it blows off the door!
It may be 'Tulip Time' on my platter, but outside it's still barren, cold, and wet.
Here's hoping
Maybe Spring will arrive---next week..?
Thank you for your cooperation,
How many treasures in your cozy home! I love Daffodills too!I do love those gorgeous tulips. That carrot cake looks great:pretty and delicious.Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you, Maristella. I had to go to the archives, because it just wasn't Spring here yet. Today was lovely though, and I got my front porch cleaned of the refuse of winter. This week I will hope to make SPRING for this year!
DeleteYou definitely have some spring inspiration there, Sandi -- and I love every bit of it!
ReplyDeleteTY, If only some were showing now---a bit of daffodil stems finally popped up...hoping for flowers soon.
DeleteWow, Sandi, it's all beautiful. It's cold and barren here, too, so your pretty pictures are a welcome reminder of what's to come. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, when I'm behind, I did in the archives...TY!
DeleteSandi, I love it all. So many pretty flowers and all real too!!! (Inside joke) That is the best way to go but sometimes other stuff happens! Carrot cake looks so good and very pretty. I envy anyone that can draw and write on a blackboard and make it look good. You definitely can do that. Thanks for your two visits. Yes, my roses are sprouting but I have one lone daffodil that is trying to open up. I probably will spotlight it in my next post..Happy Weekend..Judy
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, on the real flowers----no, I don't have the budget for oodles of fresh flowers. Thanks for your visit and I was really jealous of your roses, lol. Sandi
DeleteSandi!! What a lovely post filled with so much eye candy!!! So many pretty things!! I am STILL taking down Christmas!!! Because of the pain in my knee, I have to go slow and stop at times. I still have the Sitting Room upstairs to do and the craft room and then I am finally done and the house will be returned to normal!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Debbie
