Pumpkin Spice Pastry Quicky

This week, I managed to  clear a two-foot square piece of counter (still covered in tools) in the new kitchen and make these Pumpkin Spice Butter rollups.

You know how it goes---tube pastry sheet or croissant pastry, roll extra thin, brush with butter, spread nummy stuff--in this case my homemade Pumpkin Spice Butter which I made last year.
I use parchment paper for all my baking---it just makes life easier.

Roll the entire nummy mess up---and slice 1" thick. Leave some room for them to spread out.

I love the way they were slippery and uneven with all the Pumpkin Spice nummie-ness in the layers.

Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and sugar and bake at 375degrees for 14-15 minutes.

The smell was divine...and they got toasty brown.

Now, some pumpkin spice coffee and a sweet breakfast is ready.

How do you satisfy your Pumpkin Spice craving?

  7. Ha, ha, I literally had two square feet of clean counter, with all the tools still piled on the counter top from the remodel. Today will be the last day, hopefully of tools in the kitchen.
    Thanks for stopping by, Sandi
