I loved learning the history of your love for antique and vintage treasures. Not sure where my love came from. I was the youngest of 8 children and growing up mom did not have old things. She had pretty and new. All of my grands had passed by the time I was 1, but I do remember some of the treasures one of my Aunts had. My mothers parents house was locked up for a time. It was broken into so mom didn't have any family heirlooms. So I prize anything that my cousin gives me of my Aunts. Also anything that belonged to my sweet mother. You have some gorgeous things and I love how you hold your granddaughter up to see. I have a collection of vintage toys and I let my grandsons play with most of them. I too do not want a museum. I'd much rather have a warm and inviting home, even if it means something gets broken now and then.
hugs,
JannHave a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15446091501170762899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3181238201239847317.post-13181726862452598632015-08-01T13:54:58.769-05:002015-08-01T13:54:58.769-05:00Such wonderful treasurs and a beautiful way to sha...Such wonderful treasurs and a beautiful way to share them with the next generation!Jillian's Bella Rosa Antiqueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04325276255189392605noreply@blogger.com
