A couple of weeks ago I realized I was starting to use up my toilet paper stock and the same with hand sanitizer. I've been re-inventorying and restocking. My mantra was "What would my great-grandmother have done to get through a Russian winter?" My other son, thinks the mother ship will arrive any day, so he is always prepared, with the car semi-packed. LOL. Glad you were ready, thanks for stopping by! Now I'm too lazy to lug stuff around, so having multiples in different places really paid off. We honestly didn't go out for 3 weeks at a time. Glad to hear you are stocked, it is a mind-set. And also learning to do with what is on hand. Of all the things missing in stores was crap foods/frozen pizzas etc...which I certainly could do without all the time. Well food is a different post!Sandi Maglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09704266549174163817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3181238201239847317.post-91908587673859331622020-06-27T07:56:59.027-05:002020-06-27T07:56:59.027-05:00Sandi,

You need to link this up to some linky parties to get this info out there since you spent so much time on it. Joe normally buys in bulk so we always have more than what we need. And with him working almost daily in Wegman's, it was quite easy for him to shop after his shift was over so we never had any problem getting anything, including toilet paper! My mother was one who always used whatshe called ammonia water to clean and I do the same. I do use a mixture of vinegar and water on my floors as that is what the preferred cleaner for them is as per manufacturer. And I also use it to clean mirrors and windows.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
DebDebbie-Dabble Blog and A Debbie-Dabble Christmashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09393980831584145593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3181238201239847317.post-6067108211397382102020-06-24T14:59:48.806-05:002020-06-24T14:59:48.806-05:00Ah, Dewena, I started over a month ago---but it wa...Ah, Dewena, I started over a month ago---but it was so grim then, now that things are available, I know I have to restock, quite a few things. We should think of needing anything for long periods of time. I really do like the spray and wipes I made...and will always have those around now! We are so used to using easy fix products, when we could make some from scratch in a pinch. I know I'm slowly replacing everything we used. Still looking for spray disinfectants though! OK, I'm a hoarder. I was married to long to a man who was laid off in the wintertime (construction related job). Come fall, you would have thought I was a squirrel. I an also a couponer and frugal. So there is an old cupboard and a metal shelf unit in the cellar with extra canned and dry goods. Another stash of health and beauty aids, soap/cleaning supplies. Now retired, I am also not fond of lugging groceries up icey stairs. Other than not having my choice of meat sometimes at the grocery store, we haven't run out of anything. I am afraid sales flyers will ALWAYS be preferred bathroom reading material so I stay prepared!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08268246647001351491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3181238201239847317.post-30923856842373705892020-06-24T13:00:44.067-05:002020-06-24T13:00:44.067-05:00Oh the time you must have put into this post! We are not at all prepared for 90 days more lockdown, I only just realized. My head has been in the sand, I'm afraid. My daughter-in-law is much better prepared than I am and relies completely on all natural products for cleaning, etc., along with essential oils. Well done, both of you! I am one that does not prepare for anything! I just got out of my one container of Clorox wipes and lets see how long it takes me to put it on our next grocery list. I am very afraid that another lock down is coming. I don't see how anybody can continue with the way cases are rising. So I will take your list to heart and thank you for being so responsible..Stay well my friend..xxoJudyJudy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.com
